Fern Empowerment Foundation, over the weekend, observed the 2021 Menstrual Hygiene Day under the theme: ‘More Action and Investment in Menstrual Health and Hygiene Now!’
The Foundation spent a day with students of St. Bakhita School Complex at the Odumase Krobo district in the Eastern Region of Ghana as well as Kayayei in Accra.
Fern Empowerment Foundation educated these two groups on the importance of menstrual hygiene and some healthy practices they must follow.

The Menstrual Hygiene Day is observed each year on May 28 to highlight the importance of good menstrual hygiene management at a global level.
